(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) arrested a man who allegedly burglarized his ex’s home and stole various items.
On Sunday, May 18, officers were contacted by a Domestic Violence victim who reported that her ex had burglarized her home and stolen items that included her family heirloom jewelry that had both a high dollar and significant sentimental value.
According to CSPD, officers investigated and developed enough information to obtain an arrest warrant for the suspect, Nathan Stubblefield, the next day. On Monday, officers executed the warrant, were able to arrest the suspect, and locate all items taken from the victim, including her heirloom jewelry.
“The victim was extremely thankful to all of the officers who assisted in this investigation and the recovery of her belongings that had such significant sentimental value,” CSPD wrote.
