(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, Aug. 28 officers were called to reports of a man chasing someone with a knife.
Police said on Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m. officers were called to the 5700 block of North Academy Boulevard just south of Vickers Drive after reports that a suspect was allegedly chasing someone with a knife.
While en route to the location officers received information that the suspect was also reportedly beating on businesses’ windows, running around buildings, and causing a disturbance. When officers arrived they found the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
The suspect is facing charges of Felony Menacing and multiple other weapons charges, according to CSPD.
