(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that on Wednesday morning, Jan. 29, officers responded to a call about a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian who was a minor.

According to CSPD, when officers arrived around 8 a.m. at the scene near the intersection of Grand Cordera Parkway and Research Parkway, near North Powers Boulevard, they found that the child had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

CSPD stated that the driver was cited for careless driving resulting in bodily injury.
