CSPD: Multiple armed people stole from business

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said on Sunday, May 11, multiple armed people allegedly entered a business in East Colorado Springs and took cash and merchandise.

According to CSPD, on Sunday, a little before 2 p.m., officers were called to a business in the 2900 block of Galley Road near North Circle Drive for a robbery. The person calling 911 said their friend was working at a business in the area and overheard a robbery taking place.

While police were headed to the location, the employee/victim called from the business and confirmed that a robbery had taken place. When police arrived, they checked that the victim was uninjured and started an investigation. Their investigation revealed that multiple armed people came into the business and took cash and merchandise.

Police are still working to identify the suspects.
