(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that a man was dropped off at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg on Sunday, March 9, but there are no leads on suspects.
According to CSPD, around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, a man was dropped off at Memorial Central Hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower right leg. He was dropped off by an unknown person in a black Toyota sedan who did not remain on the scene.
CSPD stated that officers spoke with the victim, a 59-year-old man, who said he was walking near a city park when he was shot but did not see who shot him. He also said he didn’t know the driver who had dropped him off at the hospital, as he had flagged him down in the area.
CSPD said that as the victim gave no further information, there are no leads in the investigation at this time.
