(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a shooting near Memorial Park on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 8 after officers responded to a call about a “man covered in blood.”

According to CSPD, officers are on the scene of the 2600 block of East Bijou Street, just west of the intersection with North Circle Drive. According to Sr. Public Communications Specialist, Caitlin Ford Blanco, police are investigating an apartment that is possibly connected.
