(COLORADO SPRINGS) — After reports of a shooting in the 200 block of Southgate Road, officers found a man dead at the scene on Sunday, Oct. 19, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

Police reported that around 5 p.m. on Sunday, detectives from the Homicide Unit took over the investigation at the scene near South Nevada Avenue and Lake Avenue. Witnesses were interviewed, but there was no suspect information.
