(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers are working to identify a suspect after a shooting in the morning hours of Friday, May 31.

According to CSPD, on Friday at around 8:30 a.m., police got a call about a shooting in the 1200 block of East Filmore Street. One person had been shot and was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect had left the area and police are working to identify and get a description of the suspect.
