(COLORADO SPRINGS) — One person was injured in a shooting near North Carefree Circle and Peterson Road in the early morning hours of Sunday, Sept. 14, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

CSPD reported that around 12:45 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4000 block of Riviera Grove. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

CSPD stated that all those involved have been located, and the investigation is ongoing. There have been no arrests at this time.
