(COLORADO SPRINGS) — If you’re seeing a large emergency response at the Colorado College (CC) campus Downtown, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) assured the community that the response is part of a drill, and there is no threat to the school or the community.

CSPD posted about the training exercise on X (formerly Twitter) shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24. CSPD said its department was assisting with the emergency response training exercise near Ed Robson Arena.

CSPD said it will send a community notification on X when the drill is complete.
