(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a driver was cited for a red light violation after a two-car crash with one car rolling over near the Citadel Mall.

According to CSPD, on Monday, June 16, police got 911 calls about a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bijou Street and Circle Drive. Callers reported that one vehicle had rolled over.

When police arrived, one person was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Traffic issues occurred during rush hour for about 90 minutes while police investigated and cleaned up the scene. One driver was cited and released for a red light violation.
