(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that a crash between a car and a pedestrian led to life-threatening injuries on Saturday, Nov. 2, on South Academy Boulevard near Chelton Road.

According to CSPD, when officers arrived at the scene at 1800 S. Academy Blvd. around 8:45 p.m., they found the pedestrian who was unresponsive lying in the northbound lanes of Academy. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
