CSPD searching for suspects after shooting injures minor

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a minor was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, Feb. 13, and police are still searching for two suspects related to the incident.

According to CSPD, on Tuesday, at around 4:15 p.m., officers were called to the 2500 block of South Academy Boulevard near Astrozon Boulevard. When officers arrived they found a minor with at least one gunshot wound in a parking lot a block away.

The minor was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. CSPD said there are at least two suspects who have not been identified at this time, and added that it appears to be an isolated incident.
