CSPD: Two cellphone store break ins related

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a pair of burglaries at cell phone stores within minutes of each other were allegedly committed by the same suspects.

CSPD said on Friday, Nov. 22 a little before 5 a.m. officers were called to burglary alarms at two cell phone stores within 20 minutes of each other. The stores’ windows were broken and items were taken.

The first cell phone store was located in the 2700 block of South Academy Boulevard near Hancock Expressway, the second was located in the 500 block of South Academy Boulevard near Airport Road.

According to CSPD, due to the time and suspect descriptions, police believe the two burglaries are related.
