(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to the scene of a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian that resulted in serious injury, on Saturday, July 6.
CSPD reported that around 6:30 a.m., officers reported to the 6000 block of North Carefree Circle, near Tutt Boulevard. When they arrived, they found that a vehicle traveling westbound had hit a pedestrian who had crossed Carefree northbound against a red signal.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries from the crash. According to CSPD, neither speed nor intoxication are considered factors in the crash.
