(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said while officers were investigating a domestic disturbance incident a man ran from his vehicle with a rifle in his hands in the overnight hours of Tuesday, July 23.
According to CSPD, on Tuesday at around 11:24 p.m., officers were called to report of a domestic disturbance in the area of South Murray Boulevard near Airport Road. When officers walked down an alley to check the rear of the address they found an occupied vehicle.
When officers approached the vehicle, the man ran from the vehicle with what CSPD said was a rifle in his hands. Police later learned the man had a warrant for his arrest, and were unable to find the suspect.
