DENVER (KDVR) — The 2025 NFL scouting combine is here.
The week-long event hosted in Indianapolis will provide talent evaluators from all 32 NFL teams an opportunity to get a first-hand look at prospects ahead of the draft in April.
The Denver Broncos currently hold 7 picks in this year’s draft, beginning with the 20th overall pick in the 1st round. Head coach Sean Payton has spoken extensively about finding players to make the offense more explosive; a ‘joker’ position this offseason. Other positions of need include running back, wide receiver, tight end, linebacker and safety.
Colorado Sports Night previewed this year’s NFL combine with Darren McKee from Altitude Sports Radio. Aside from the players likely to be selected in the first round, this week is about scouting talent to create depth on the roster.
“It’s more valuable for you in rounds two through seven,” McKee explained. “I think that is where it matters the most, to compare those players to the big guns.”
329 prospects were invited to this year’s combine.
The schedule (which is sorted by position groups) is below:
Feb. 27 (1 p.m. MT): Defensive Linemen and Linebackers
Feb. 28 (1 p.m. MT): Defensive Backs, Tight Ends
March 1 (1 p.m. MT): Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers and Running Backs
March 2 (11 p.m. MT): Offensive Linemen
You can watch Colorado Sports Night every weeknight on the CW KWGN Channel 2 at 11:00 p.m. and live on KDVR+.
