FREMON COUNTY, Colo. — The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is investigating a homicide that occurred in Penrose on Wednesday.

Deputies say the victim is a White male. The Fremont County coroner is attempting to notify the victim’s next of kin.

FCSO says the public is not at risk.
