(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Margarita at Pine Creek has two upcoming events that are sure to delight local foodies. The first is a wine-tasting event and dinner, on Thursday, Mar. 28, at 6:30 p.m. that features a culinary favorite: the sandwich.
The second is their Spring Tea, which will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11:00 to 1:30 p.m. and will feature “an array of teas, savory bites and homemade pastries.”
The “Earl of Sandwich” Wine Tasting Dinner is a multi-course dining experience featuring several gourmet sandwich creations. The sandwich is named after John Montagu, The 4th Earl of Sandwich, who invented the meal now named after him. The sandwich selection includes:
“The Reuban”: a House Cured Tuna Pastrami, House-Cured Kraut, Cornichons, Sour Mustard-Y Jus, House-Ketchup Aioli & Rye Crumble
“The Cheese & Tomato”: Tomato Tartare on toasted Focaccia, Vermont White Cheddar Bisque
“The Hero”: Roulade Salad, Smoked Mozzarella, Muffaletta Relish & Giardiniera Vinaigrette
“The Banh Mi”: Braised Pork Cheek, Wonton Napoleon, Spiced Shrimp Pate & Pickled Vegetables
“The French Dip”: Sous Vide Beef, Crisp Provolone, Smoked Onion-Roasted Garlic Soubise, Greens & Crisp Mushroom
And for dessert, “The PB & J”: Peanut Butter Cookie, Triple Berry Jam-Ice Cream

The “Earl of Sandwich” dinner is expertly paired with wines from Dirk of The Wine Seller. The cost is $80 per person plus sales tax and gratuity. The Spring Tea at The Margarita will be a relaxing Saturday afternoon treat. The cost for that event is $37 per person. To reserve your spot for either event, please call (719) 598-8667.
