(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) shared a story of a dog that was found tied to a pole with a message and how her “happy tail” ended.
According to HSPPR, Giselle’s story started with a good Samaritan finding her tied to a pole with a note that read “Help Her!” and listed below was the number for the shelter. HSPPR said they would not judge Giselle’s previous owner, they don’t know the situation only that the owner was asking for help.

The good Samaritan found Giselle wrapped in a towel, with food, water, and supplies beside her. With no one around the good Samaritan did what the sign asked and took Giselle to HSPPR.
HSPPR said Giselle was taken care of and loved by its team for 25 days until her journey ended with an adoption.
“We hope everyone joins us in wishing Giselle well in the next chapter of her life. She deserves it!” wrote HSPPR.
