Don your shamrocks! The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Saturday

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Once again, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place in downtown Colorado Springs, and thousands of people will be donning green attire to celebrate. This year’s festivities are the 40th annual! Parade organizers John O’Donnell and his wife Carol will be this year’s grand marshals, celebrating their 40th year of running the event. During FOX21’s lifestyle show, John gives us the rundown on what to know before you go.

The parade will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. The route begins on the corner of Tejon Street and E. St. Vrain and continues marching south on Tejon Street to Vermijo. 

Before the parade, there will be the flattest 5k, the Funnest Fun Run, the coolest kids scavenger hunt, a super shnazzy sports expo, and so much more!
