(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The driver who died in a rollover crash on Monday, Feb. 12 has been identified by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office as 83-year-old Stanley Grant.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), on Monday at around 8 a.m. officers were called to the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Vincent Drive about a single-vehicle rollover crash. When officers arrived, Grant had already been removed from the car by witnesses who were performing CPR.
Members of the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) and AMR arrived and continued life-saving efforts, however, Grant died on the scene from his injuries.
CSPD said their investigation does not seem to show alcohol or speed being factors in the crash. Grant is the ninth traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2024. At this time in 2023, there were seven fatalities.
