(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo County 10th Judicial District Court and Probation and the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) are holding an emergency response exercise on Friday, Aug. 30 at the Dennis Maes Judicial Building located at 501 Elizabeth Street.

PCSO said the exercise is designed to test staff response to an emergency and will also test the deputies who work in the building. Pueblo Fire Department and AMR personnel will also be present at the exercise.

The drill is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. until about 4 p.m. and the building will close to the public at noon. PCSO is warning the public that they may see exercise-related activity in and around the judicial building, responders may be dressed, and emergency equipment and vehicles will be on scene.
