(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) is partnering with Norris Penrose Rodeo Legacy Foundation and C&L Productions to host an inaugural charity rodeo.

The Inaugural Guns & Hoses City Slickers Ranch Rodeo is a high-energy event that honors its western heritage while recognizing the service and sacrifice of the region’s first responders and military personnel, according to EPSO.

The City Slickers Rodeo is a charity competition featuring teams of first responders and military members, “City Slickers,” paired with experienced cowboys. Teams compete in four timed events, with proceeds from the event benefiting charities selected by the top three teams.
