(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Air Force baseball greats Sam Kulasingam and Jay Thomason both heard their names called during the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday.

The Kansas City Royals selected Sam Kulasingam in the 13th round.

The Second Lieutenant is the Falcons all-time leader in hits, tied for doubles and is one of only four players to win Mountain West Player of the Year twice.

The Minnesota Twins drafted Jay Thomason in the 17th round.

Thomason ranks as the conference’s all-time leader in home runs and is the 12th Falcons player to ever be drafted.
