(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) is currently responding to a fatal crash on Pueblo Boulevard, near I-25.

According to the police department, Pueblo Boulevard is closed eastbound at Lakeshore/Palmer Avenue. PPD told FOX21 News one person, a man, is dead.

PPD said crews will be on scene for an extended period of time. At the moment, the police department could say how long the road will be closed. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
