(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) and Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) are working on a fatal traffic crash that has closed East Las Vegas Street between Janitell Road and the 2700 block of E. Las Vegas St.

CSPD said the closure is expected for several hours, and CSFD is asking drivers to avoid the area and find an alternate route of travel.
