(PEYTON, Colo.) — Multiple agencies are responding to a wildfire north of Peyton.

According to the Peyton Fire Protection District (PFPD), the fire is burning near Sweet Road between Bradshaw Road and Peyton Highway.

PFPD said its agency was responding along with Falcon Fire Department, Ellicott Fire Department, and Elbert Fire Department. PFPD asked the public to avoid the area while responders are on scene.
