(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is currently working on a crash on southbound Powers.

At around 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 CSFD announced via X (formerly known as Twitter) that it was on the scene of a crash with trapped parties at Powers Boulevard and Hancock Expy, near the Colorado Springs Airport.

Fire crews reported that a total of five patients were taken to the hospital and crews are still in the area working.

Southbound Powers Blvd is closed at Hancock Expy. Individuals are asked to avoid the area while crews work.
