(FORT CARSON, Colo.) — Fort Carson’s gates were closed basewide due to a vehicle situation on Friday, Oct. 31.

According to a Fort Carson official, “a vehicle traveling inbound through a Fort Carson controlled access point refused to stop, resulting in a lockdown of all gates on the installation.”

As of 7:30 a.m., Oct. 31, the closure has been lifted, and all gate operations have returned to normal.
