UPDATE: THURSDAY 9/25/2025 1:05 p.m.
The Fountain Police Department said the disturbance call occurred at around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25. The call came to police as what FPD referred to as an open 911 line, or the caller left the phone on, and the operator heard what was happening and the operator did hear an active disturbance.
FPD said there is no threat to the public at this time, and the deaths are under investigation, and further details were unavailable at this time.

(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — The Fountain Police Department (FPD) said police are on scene after a disturbance call on Thursday, Sept. 25, led officers to two bodies.
According to FPD, on Thursday, officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of Bonita Drive near Fontaine Boulevard and CanAm Highway. When police arrived, they found two bodies in the area.
FPD said police will be holding a briefing at around 12:45 p.m. The investigation is underway.
