FOX21 News gives back with Founder’s Day of Caring

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Friday, June 14 FOX21 News will celebrate the 28th anniversary of Nexstar’s founding by serving in the community and helping our neighbors in need.

The day of service is part of this year’s “Founder’s Day of Caring,” where Nexstar stations help local organizations that are committed to improving the community.

This year, FOX21 is helping four organizations including; Forge Evolution, StableStrides, Community Partnership for Child Development, and the Colorado Springs Salvation Army.

Founder’s Day began in 2016 on the 20th anniversary of Nexstar’s founding, with the goal of reaching a total of 20,000 hours of community service.
