(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak detachment of the Marine Corps League has secured a warehouse for this year’s Toys for Tots distribution.
FOX21 News first brought you this story earlier in October about the organization’s search for space after it lost access to the same space it has operated out of for the past few years. Now they’ve secured a new spot, and Russ Miller, the coordinator for this region’s annual toy drive, said it’s all thanks to a FOX21 viewer.
“A friend of hers and a former employer that she knew that had a space, and put me in contact with them, and sure enough, they had exactly what we needed,” said Miller. “10,000 square feet, big roll up door, forklift, everything we need to run the Toys for Tots campaign.”
