(FREMONT COUNTY, Colo.) — Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for assistance in locating a 40-year-old man.

John Chappel, 40, was last seen on Monday, June 3 at his residence in Cotopaxi, Colorado. The Sheriff’s Office said he is possibly driving a late 80’s, early 90’s red Toyota 4-Runner with Colorado license plate, #BYP-Y73. The vehicle has a nine lines sticker on the rear driver’s side window.

Chappel was last seen wearing a yellow/orange cut-off shirt, blue jeans, and a straw hat. Possibly traveling with a white dog with a brown spot on their face.

Chappel has brown hair and blue eyes.
