(PIKES PEAK REGION, Colo.) — According to the Friends of Mueller State Park, so much wood was left over from the firewood sale on Saturday, Oct. 12, that a second sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or until the wood is sold out.

According to the Friends of Mueller State Park Facebook page, the sale will be held at Gate 36 of the park, 1.8 miles south of Divide on CO-67, or 2 miles north of the park’s main entrance. Signs will be posted from the main entrance directing customers to the sale location. Admission to the park is free for those buying wood.
The firewood is mixed dry and green, unsplit, and cut to 12″ and 24″ lengths. Sales are cash only, and prices are $80 to fill a short-bed truck and $120 for a long-bed truck. The post specifies no trailers, and that the buyer is responsible for loading their own truck. For questions, call the park at (719) 687-2366.
