Frontier Drive Inn reopens, offers luxurious stays and movies through the summer

(SAN LUIS VALLEY, Colo.) — The historic Frontier Drive Inn is now open for summer stays and has announced its movie lineup for the 2024 season.

Perfect for a weekend getaway or a road trip stop, the Frontier Inn is located on Highway 285. Individuals who visit can also enjoy the Great Sand Dunes National Park and several hot springs that are just a short drive away.

Guests can enjoy that and much more at The Inn, including a mix of films highlighting:

6/27-6/29: Bollocks

7/18-7/20: Christmas in July

8/1-8/3: Happy Campers

8/22-8/24: A Little Bit Country

9/12- 9/14: Cycling Aliens

9/26-9/28: 90s Baby

10/31-11/2: Sir Alfred’s Spooks

Films are shown every Thursday through Saturday now, through October.

Opened in 1955, the Inn has served the community over the years. After the drive-in closed its doors in 1986, the Inn came back to life in 2016 with a lawn for movie nights under the stars, new screening equipment, and overnight accommodations.

The Inn features yurts and Steelmaster suites suitable for glamping lodging. It recently added unique 3D-printed adobe structures for stargazing under dark skies.
