Funnel cloud over Widefield on Friday

(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — If you spotted a funnel cloud forming over southern El Paso County on Friday, June 6, you weren’t alone.

Several FOX21 News viewers spotted a funnel cloud near the Security-Widefield area around 3:30 p.m. as thunderstorms rolled over the county on Friday. Some viewers could reportedly also see it from Fountain.

FOX21 Storm Team Meteorologist Robert Hahn said this funnel reportedly never touched down, and there have been no reports of any damage.
