(BLACK FOREST, Colo.) — Black Forest Fire Rescue (BFFR) is praising a Good Samaritan for spotting a rollover accident and stopping to wait with the driver while emergency crews responded.
According to BFFR, crews from its agency as well as Falcon, Colorado Springs, and AMR responded shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19 to a reported rollover crash near Black Forest Road and Research Parkway. BFFR said crews helped rescue a person who was trapped in the car.
BFFR said thankfully, the person who was freed from the car only suffered minor injuries and did not require transport to the hospital.
The rescue was made possible because BFFR said a driver passing by the rollover spotted the wreck and stopped to check on the occupants.
“Thank you to the citizen who saw the accident and stopped to assist until emergency units arrived,” BFFR said.
