Got Potholes? Let City of Pueblo know

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The City of Pueblo Department of Public Works is seeking input for an upcoming pothole filling effort during the week of Monday, June 23, through Friday, June 27.

Pueblo citizens are encouraged to assist the Department of Public Works with identifying potholes around their neighborhoods by emailing [email protected].

“We’re asking residents to let us know where their biggest pain spots are throughout the city,” said Acting Director of Public Works Chuck Roy. “The City has done our street assessment for major artillery roads, and we have long-term plans for paving, sealing, patchwork, and other needs. What we’re seeking is for our residents to let us know about the potholes that affect their everyday drive in their neighborhood that isn’t scheduled for major road maintenance.”

Individuals are asked to help the department identify cross streets and provide location assistance to identify these areas. No private, business parking lots or streets outside of city limits, including Colorado state highways or roads, will be considered for the pothole project.

In 2022, Pueblo conducted a Road Condition Assessment Summary to provide an accurate assessment of pavement conditions, which showed 47.9% of roads were under a “fair” condition.

To submit a pothole location, individuals can email the Public Works or call at (719)-553-2295.
