Grand Opening of free business recycling in Pueblo

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo business community will now have access to a free recycling drop-off with a grand opening on Tuesday, April 22.

The event will take place at Front Range Transload, located at 604 West 3rd Street, on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with time for networking and refreshments after. The recycling drop-off will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. after the opening.

Businesses can recycle:

Aluminum

Tin

Steel cans

Cardboard

Office Paper

Plastics #1 and #2

Plastics like pallet wrap, bubble wrap, air pillows, plastic mailers, and more

Materials can be dropped off free of charge by any business in Pueblo and the surrounding region. To use the site, businesses must register on the Front Range Transload website to ensure they are familiar with the rules of the site.

Those living in Pueblo not affiliated with a business can recycle their materials through Pueblo Recycleworks.

The drop-off is a collaboration between Front Range Transload and the Circular Economy Development Center, a State of Colorado program whose mission is to grow and create markets for recycled commodities and facilitate needed infrastructure, systems, logistics, and marketing.
