(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is mopping up a fire near Pikes Peak Avenue and Delaware Drive on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

CSFD says the fire was less than an acre and a half, but several businesses were threatened by the fire.

“This is a good reminder that grass, brush, and wildfires can happen any time of year in Colorado Springs,” said CSFD.
