Green Mountain Falls comes alive with Bronc Day festival

(GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS, Colo.) — The 87th annual Bronc Day festival brought Green Mountain Falls to life on Saturday, July 26, blending a heartfelt look at the town’s history with a vibrant celebration of all things community.

The day kicked off with a lively parade and rolled right into a lineup of fun, from a dino dig and touch-a-truck, to local art vendors and other family-friendly activities.

And FOX21’s own Evening News Anchor Scott Kilbury had one of the sweetest jobs of the day as the judge for the always-competitive Bronc Day pie contest. The winning pie was an Earl Grey tea with lemon curd flavor. According to Kilbury, it sounds strange, but tastes amazing.
