Guilty plea in case of child’s body found in concrete

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The male suspect involved in a case of a child’s body found encased in concrete in a downtown Pueblo storage unit pleaded guilty on Thursday, July 10.

On Thursday, Jesus Dominguez pled guilty to second-degree murder in a Pueblo County courtroom.

In January 2024, a child’s body was found encased in concrete in a metal container at a downtown Pueblo storage unit. In February 2024, a second child’s body was found in the trunk of a car in a Pueblo scrapyard. Both children had been missing since 2018.

In February 2024, Corena Minjarez and Jesus Dominguez were arrested and charged with the deaths of the two children.

Dominguez is scheduled back in court on Sept. 12.
