(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Sunday, May 25, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) shared a roaring saga about a heroic rescue performed by Animal Law Enforcement after a call came in about an injured dog lying on the side of the road, which didn’t turn out quite as expected.
According to HSPPR, the call came in from a Good Samaritan who was very concerned about the welfare of a black and white dog they saw lying injured on the side of the road.
Officer Jones from Animal Law Enforcement immediately responded, driving to the location to find the injured dog, but found something unexpected instead – a large stuffed tiger.
Officer Jones fulfilled her duty with valor and saved the wayward carnival prize so that no one else would mistake it for an injured dog.
