(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) said there is an excess of puppies at both of its shelters and is hoping to find them homes.
HSPPR said it has more than 60 puppies at both shelter locations and that is more than it can handle. The puppies have been practicing their best puppy pout and are waiting, according to HSPPR.

HSPPR said on Thursday, July 25 it was happy to report that its Doodle puppies had choice holds/pending adoptions. There are still many more puppies looking for homes and potential families are encouraged to visit the shelters in person to see what puppies are available.
HSPPR said if you cannot adopt, you can spread the word that the shelters have plenty of puppies to give to loving homes.
