HSPPR: Kittens cuddled together in cinder blocks rescued

(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) said its Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) team found a group of kittens that needed rescue due to an infection that had spread to the group.

According to HSPPR, while helping the community a TNR team heard the sound of meowing coming from a stack of cinder blocks. Following the sound the team found five kittens cuddled together, all seeking shelter from the rain.

The five kittens needed help, as the weather was not the only issue the kittens had HSPPR said all five kittens had ringworm, a fungal infection, as well.

The kittens were brought out of the rain and are not with a rescue partner who offered to help treat the kittens’ infection.
