HSPPR shares the many “happy tails” from 2024

(PIKES PEAK REGION, Colo.) — On New Year’s Day, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) took a look back at 2024 and the many successes for the pets that came through their facility whose stories turned into “happy tails.”

Here are the numbers that illustrate all that was accomplished to help pets find their happily-ever-after at HSPPR:

12,856 adoptions

4,880 pets reunited with their owners

7,850 medical rehabilitations

1,594 pets in the behavior program

2,296 pets in foster care

1,594 cruelty investigations

2,583 cats in the Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) program

12,561 public wellness visits
