(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Humane Society of Pikes Peak Region’s (HSPPR) biggest fundraiser of the year returns in Sept. 2024 at a new location but still offers plenty of fun and activities while raising money for lost, abandoned, abused, and unwanted pets.

HSPPR said the Pawtober Fest 2024 will be held at Printers Hill at 101 South Union Boulevard across from Memorial Park on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature a paved road and sidewalk allowing more accessibility. The event is dog-friendly featuring craft brews and spirits tasting, pet contests, and activities for the whole family, according to HSPPR. Dogs must be leashed at all times and HSPPR asks that guests leave aggressive dogs at home.

Tickets are required for the event and online ticket registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. There will also be tickets available at the gate on the day of the event.

This year the goal is to raise over $210,000, which according to Pawtober Fest’s website is already 80% reached.
