(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is bringing back its popular, “Poorly Portrayed Pet Portraits” fundraiser for Valentine’s Day.

Interested participants can donate $20 and submit their pet’s photograph on HSPPR’s Facebook page and staff at HSPPR will draw their pet (poorly) and send them the drawing.

The deadline to submit pet pictures is Monday, Feb. 5 at 8 a.m.

Money from the fundraiser will go toward helping homeless pets at HSPPR by funding their medical costs and care as they wait to find their forever homes.
