(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) reports that a crash has caused the closure of southbound I-25 in the early morning of Monday, March 4.

CDOT posted to social media at around 3:30 a.m. that a crash at exit 96 at Minnequa Avenue, CDOT also said southbound I-25 is closed between exits 97A and 97B. FOX21 learned the crash involved a motorcycle and was fatal.

CDOT said a detour is in place for I-25 southbound and slower speeds are advised.
